It has been far too long! All of my time and energy has been focused on work and the little one… and in the few remaining minutes of my day I try to eat, clean, and do all of the other things that I’m supposed to do. I’ll be honest, I even resort to showering while I give Addison baths just to save time. Plus better for the environment, right?
LA doesn’t feel nearly as chilly after returning from my extended weekend in Nashville, but I still find my wooly coats to be comforting and cozy in the evening when the temperature drops!
It’s the day when I finally put on my new studded flats and let those perfect pale pink leather soles touch the ground. For the money, you would think they’d feel ah-mazing on your feet out of the box, but no, even $$$ luxury flats need breaking in (but they’re colorful and they make me happy!!!). :D
If you see someone holding up traffic downtown today because they take too long crossing the street, you’ll know it’s me. I shall tread very carefully…
Mr. Forstadt nailed it when it came to birthday and holiday gifting this season. Sure, my wishlist helped a bit (does my jacket look familiar?), but he picked these glittery lightning bolt kicks himself!

Happy Friday! I am generally pretty iffy on halter dresses, but this one is so flattering (the wide straps, the neckline, the mid-rise back) I made an exception for it. (Plus, I am always a sucker for unique back details!)
Ronny, you make such great knits. They feel good, look good (squeeze you in all the right places), and come in such delightful colors and patterns. Needless to say, today I felt like wearing some ladylike summer stripes for a meeting. Even better, the dress, bag, and heels were super sale scores!

Today’s handbag and pumps will be key pieces in my wardrobe FOREVER. Are they “credit-worthy” purchases? Definitely. But will they outlive several cycles of less-expensive purchases? Absolutely.
I loved this sweatshirt from the moment I set my eyes on it and its raffia-covered front. I’m always a sucker for interesting textures, so palm fronds dyed black and white were too new and fascinating for me to pass up.
