It was a whopping 29 degrees today in Nashville, so I put on my warmest layers and headed over to the Parthenon at Centennial Park to snap some photos. As great as my recent trip to Miami was, there’s something nice and refreshing about visiting (emphasis on visiting) somewhere with a real winter!
This is not what I’d consider appropriate Miami wear. However, at 6 in the morning, it’s a tad chilly in LA, so I threw on some comfy light layers for my flight. And to keep my bags a little lighter, both my tee and coat are reversible, so I can still change up my looks with just a few pieces!
Even the most basic shirt with jeans can become a standout outfit with the addition of some great shoes and accessories!
Last weekend I went to the Beverly Hills Loehmanns to shop the store closing sale. As a super-bargain shopper, sales are like heaven to me. But strangely, that store closing sale actually struck an emotional chord with me… I wasn’t inspired to buy anything (which, I must say, is quite rare for me).
I recently discovered ECO SWIM by AQUA GREEN, a super-sustainable swimwear label that is made from recycled materials (they literally take plastic bottles, melt them down into poly filaments, and then spin them into magical swimsuits). While they offer a variety of classy polka dotted pieces and sweet floral prints, I saw this 90s-inspired piece and thought it was so badass, I couldn’t resist!
Hi! This is what I walked outside wearing the other day since it was grey and cloudy in the morning. Lovely (in theory) for January, however the high ended up being 80 degrees so I was a hot mess! The things we do for fashion… :)

Some days I wake up and crave a particular thing for breakfast. It can be pancakes, french toast, omelets… but today is waffles. And if you are a fan waffles, the liege waffles at Shaky Alibi on Beverly Boulevard are life-changing. Needless to say, I hopped out of bed and threw on this comfy knit sweater and oversized bomber, pairing it with some over-the-knee boots to dress it up!
LA has been delightfully warm the past few days, so I was excited to give my legs a little sun and pull out a flared scuba skirt I bought recently (while Christmas shopping for myself apparently). Neoprene pieces have been my latest obsession since they’re warm, easy to care for, and always have a modern, structured silhouette.
