I recently discovered ECO SWIM by AQUA GREEN, a super-sustainable swimwear label that is made from recycled materials (they literally take plastic bottles, melt them down into poly filaments, and then spin them into magical swimsuits). While they offer a variety of classy polka dotted pieces and sweet floral prints, I saw this 90s-inspired piece and thought it was so badass, I couldn’t resist!
Since this suit has such bold and modern coloring, I wanted to play up its urban look rather than take it to the beach. I first threw on an oversized hoodie coverup tunic/dress (which is also a great standalone piece!) for an easy daytime look, and then later layered a super flared scuba skirt on top which gave it an evening cocktail dress look. Who says you can’t wear swimsuits out?!?
