The cape blazer is one of my favorite work-appropriate layering pieces since the unexpected peek at your sleeves keeps things interesting. Best of all, it can be worn with just about anything – layered over a knit dress like I did today, paired with some pants/jeans/fitted skirts… you name it!

I kept everything else today pretty neutral and minimal, just adding a hint of bling around my neck to play off the slick metallic panelling on my bag.
