Who says you can’t wear white after Labor Day??? It’s an extremely outdated rule… and if you live in LA and it’s still sunny and 75+ degrees through fall, it is totally acceptable!
I snagged this silk Parker tank at Saks when it was on super-sale (last winter!) as well as this copper and gold Mi Asunta Bolo necklace from Urban Outfitters. I had to store the top away for several months until it got warmer, but let me remind you, I’m a huge advocate of off-season shopping. I think the savings GREATLY outweigh the disappointment of having to wait to wear them. In the last three months alone, I “acquired” (I prefer to use that term since it makes me feel less guilty!) at least 2 winter coats and 3 pairs of tall boots. But they’ve already been tucked away into the back of my closet… you’ll get to see them in about three months. :)
Parker silk tank
Joe’s Jeans Jenny boot cut (I found them at Marshalls, but you can still get them here)
Christian Siriano for Payless Sasha sandals
Asos leather messenger (on clearance, but comes and goes in stock. try your luck here)
Mi Asunta Bolo Tie necklace (similar here)
Forever 21 faceted wood bracelet (similar here)
Thank you Adam for the photos!
I am one of those East Coast people who never wear white after Labor Day; but it is 90 degrees Las Vegas so I will listen to your advice and wear white pants. I love your outfit . The color of your top is so bright and rips. Great post!
OMG I LOVE THIS. One of my fave outfits of yours so far. Those pants are fab and I love the cut of the back of the shirt! SO SAD the bag is sold out…was seriously contemplating buying that.
You know Erika, I contemplated putting the link for the bag, but I decided to because I notice it comes and goes in stock (I think people return it, etc). So if you want it, check up on it every once in a while… you just might get lucky! :)
Ooh thanks for the tip! I will :)
love the whole outfit…. that top is fabulous!!
Love your look, so fresh!
Beautiful silk tank:)
So pretty!!! That is my favorite top, I’m obsessed! I wish I could put that top on my wedding registry! Xoxo
