Denim Daze

Today I’m doing two shades of denim for an easy outfit for some errands around town before heading to Palm Springs tomorrow. The boots were my Rachel Comey sample sale treat and this bag was a Mother’s Day gift and I absolutely love it. Super soft suede, functional patch pockets, and an optional shoulder strap (which I prefer so I can free up an arm). My kid’s got great taste, right? :)

Running Around Town

I purchased this dress for a number of reasons: (i) I love the zipper and mesh detailing, (ii) It is incredibly well-made for the price point, and (iii) Its thick and stretchy material is super comfortable and makes bra-less look really good! Due to that last reason, it is my choice for a day out and about and I played up its sportiness by wearing it with my new running shoes.

Minx Trunk Show

A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of styling the runway trunk show for Minx, a rad new line of tennis apparel, at the Los Angeles Tennis Club. The collection featured bold colors and color blocking, so I carried that theme throughout the accessories (think: loads of chunky acrylic and PVC visors and bags!) and paired knee high socks with heels to keep it sporty-yet-sexy. Now I’d like to look that good while playing tennis!
