Kansas City, MO is home to amazing barbecue and some unbelievable locations for photo shoots. This area, known as the West Bottoms, is the real-life version of many backlots in Hollywood – abandoned buildings, train tracks, truck yards, and structurally unsound bridges. The perfect playground to show off my rugged denim!

This is one of my can’t-go-wrong casual outfits… and it’s a ridiculous bargain at that. A super-soft, slightly oversized v-neck tee (I buy one size up to get that effect), slouchy distressed denim shorts (also one size larger than normal so they just hang on my hips), and some comfortable flat sandals (a Marshalls find!). I will happily wear these pieces every weekend.
