This outfit epitomizes my shopping/styling philosophy – a little T.J.Maxx, a little vintage, a little H&M, and a little designer sample sale-ing…
It is often assumed that a great outfit means that some serious money was spent (people think I’m kidding when I speak of my love for off-price retailers!). But I am a true believer that a great outfit can come from a variety of affordable stores/sites. This skirt, at $58 (which, is pretty unbelievable since it has real leather piping!) was the most expensive item… and the shoes, at $29.99, are the runner up. Not bad given the fact that these timeless pieces will remain in my wardrobe for years to come…
H&M top (here)
Adam Lippes skirt – I scored this at my favorite shop in Nashville, UAL (stands for United Apparel Liquidators)
BCBGeneration shoes (similar here) – a classy T.J.Maxx find!
Vintage metal clutch (similar here)
Meredith Wendell earrings (get their ropey bangles on super sale here or here)
Gold ring with my husband’s initials (a gift from his childhood)
That skirt is just amazing. A wardrobe keeper. Love the clutch
Your blog is amazing and inspiring and this look is gorgeous! Especially those earring are fun and beautiful :)
