Everyone knows how to wear a bodycon dress for an evening event (simple… heels!). But how do you wear it on a fall day without looking like you’re doing the walk of shame? I took a trip over to Blue Sparrow shop in Santa Monica where I picked up this great knit bodycon to show you my styling tips!
Like any other effortless fall look, layering is key. the weather wasn’t cool enough for a jacket, so I decided to wear a fitted button up blouse in a nice textured fabric beneath the dress as a light layer. I also wanted to look more polished/cute rather than slut-tastic (and I mean that in the best way possible!), so I paired it with knee-high boots so you get just enough (but not too much) leg. These boots also have a looser/less-fitted style so they contrast nicely with the body-hugging dress.
Some delicate gold jewelry ties in nicely with my purse’s gold hardware…
How cool is this necklace? I thought it’s a fun play on a locket since it houses a nugget of pyrite (said to have magical healing powers) inside!
