Today I really got a chance to explore San Sebastián. Outfit of choice? My 10 Crosby by Derek Lam maxi dress (the stripes just scream Spain!) and flat sandals for lots of walking!

I kicked off the day at La Madame with a delightful three course brunch (for the first course, they gave me the option of churros or cookies!!! Best country EVER.)

After brunch, I wanted to hit the two beaches – La Concha (the place the sunbathe) and Zurriola (the surfers’ choice). This panorama shot gives an idea of the length of the beach and the beautiful hills and city buildings that surround it. (you can click the photo to see it larger)

After the beach, I headed to Parte Vieja (the Old Part) to experience the bars and pintxos (I was quickly corrected and learned that it’s pronounced peen-chos). I also stumbled upon the epic Basilica of Saint Mary of the Chorus.

10 Crosby by Derek Lam silk/wool maxi dress (even though I got it for an amazing deal online, it still counts as a ‘credit’ item. I love it so much though, it’s definitely a keeper! ‘Til death do us part…)
