Ok… it’s a head-to-head spring designer collaboration launch week. Lilly Pulitzer for Target releases this Sunday, the 19th, and Milly for DesigNation/Kohls follows on Thursday the 23rd. Lilly is its usual palm beachy laid-back vibe with soft florals and eyelet fabrics, while Milly is slightly dressier and Capri-inspired with bold colors and stripes. Will you be shopping either of them?
Here are a few looks from each of the collections that caught my eye:

The Lilly Pulitzer for Target collaboration is getting tons of hype and press (as expected), but I have to admit, I’m definitely eyeing more pieces from the Milly collection (particularly the black and white pieces… they’re soooo up my alley!). Since I already know the prices are going to be fair (dresses for Lilly are around $40, while Milly’s average $68 + the likely discount codes), it’s really going to come down to the materials and fit. While polyester is the champion of budget-friendly apparel, I’m keeping my fingers crossed for some cotton, cotton-poly blends, and maybe even some rayon… :)
I’ll keep you posted on what I end up springing for!
