In the Japanese culture, New Year’s is a time for friends and family to come together and celebrate with a feast of traditional Japanese foods. For my family, this means teriyaki chicken, sushi and sashimi, tempura, mochi (sticky rice cakes), and every delicious/obscure Japanese vegetable you can think of!
This silk jumpsuit is my modern interpretation of the traditional celebratory garb, the kimono. It has that wrap-look front, but is comfortable and lightweight enough for all-day lounging and eating!
As this year comes to a close, I’d like to thank my readers and my much-loved photographer for making Catching Couture possible. I wish you all health, happiness, and lots of amazing finds in 2014!
