Today’s handbag and pumps will be key pieces in my wardrobe FOREVER. Are they “credit-worthy” purchases? Definitely. But will they outlive several cycles of less-expensive purchases? Absolutely.

In the long run, a well-made, classic investment piece will end up being more worth your money. Not only does its cost average out over the years that you keep it (vs. the less expensive purchase that is discarded more quickly), but certain items, such as an LV Speedy, wear extremely well and will retain its value quite well over the years even with moderate use.
